The Paid Search Conversion Index, powered by Did-it, measures the rate at which consumers convert into customers from pay-per-click listings across major search engines, their syndication partners, second-tier search engines, directories, and portals. Across the media/entertainment, financial services, travel, online services, telecommunications, vertical search, retail, and B2B industries, the data reported each month includes the following
- Conversion Rate Index: A rating that defines the quality of the traffic, based on number of conversions by vertical per visitor coming from an individual search engine.
- Conversion Volume Index: A rating of the total number of conversions achieved during a given month from an individual search engine.
- Click Volume Index: A rating of the total number of clicks achieved during a given month from an individual search engine.
Aye. Interesting stuff. It’s just a shame they don’t tell you how they come to their scoring methods.
But judge it for yerselves!
